Our Story
I fell in love with acupuncture with the very first treatment. I fell hard. I fell fast. At that time I was still trying to figure out what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I started my college career with thoughts of being an interior designer and learned quickly that’s not what I was meant for. While I loved aspects of art and design my whole life, I wanted more. I knew I wanted to help people, but I wasn’t sure exactly how. Acupuncture made me feel so relaxed, like a was floating on a cloud. I was in awe that something so simple could transform my wellbeing so quickly and easily. Instantly, I knew that I could spend the rest of my life helping people feel this same way. That I was on the right path was confirmed when I found I had all the prerequisites necessary to start the program and in 2016 I received my Master’s Certificate in Acupuncture from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. In the spring of 2022, I had a feeling deep in my bones that my training in Chinese Medicine was not finished and began my herbal training in Canonical Chinese Medicine® at ICEAM®. As of January 2024, I am now certified as a Diplomate in Canonical Chinese Medicine® DCCM®.
I began practicing in 2017 as Northshore Acupuncture and was reimagined as Ethereal Acupuncture in 2020 when I moved to my own space. According to TCM, the Ethereal Soul is in charge of dreaming, imagination, and finding your true path, which serves as the inspiration for my practice. Ethereal Acupuncture is the culmination of all my dreams and aspirations coming into fruition.
